Gratitude to ICYM Neerude Unit for Their Social Service

“Clean surroundings, bright future — it starts with us.” On 15th August 2025, on the occasion of Independence Day, ICYM Neerude Unit once again carried forward its tradition of service by conducting a Bus-stand Cleaning Drive. This year, the team cleaned 8 bus stands and their surroundings in Neerude and nearby villages. Around 18 members took part in the drive, supported by our Parish Priest Fr. Alban Rodrigues, Animator Joel Mascarenhas, Parishioners, and President Anciya Noronha. All ICYM Neerude Unit members worked with great energy, unity, and enthusiasm, turning the day into a meaningful act of love for our surroundings.

The people of Neerude extend heartfelt thanks to ICYM Neerude Unit for this commendable effort and also for repairing the damaged section of the road. These initiatives not only make public spaces safer and cleaner but also reflect the group’s true spirit of social responsibility. Your dedication and hard work are deeply appreciated, and the community proudly acknowledges the positive difference you continue to make in the lives of the people.
This year marked the 21st consecutive year of this impactful initiative, as ICYM Neerude continues to work towards a cleaner, safer, and more united community.
